Enjoying Spring...

Spring is Here…

A beautiful time of year indeed, but many deal with allergies too. Balance is the key, indoors, outdoors, medications when needed and time to have fun, enjoy the sun, play and know the beauty we see is magical in some ways.

An excellent time of year to look inside and out: How are you doing with your life?

How are you feeling inside about your choices, your direction and the goals you have or need to set?

How are you doing with Need 1: “Staying Alive”? Many being to work out, prepare for races and enjoy the outdoors (which can lift moods too) this time of year. Many begin a “healthy eating plan” that may have slipped in the colder winter months or the darker days of winter. Be careful t tune up your food intake and take care of your body, staying  alive also means living fully and to do that we must be responsible for many little choices, use some self discipline and enjoy what we have too. How are you meeting the need to stay alive this month?

Love in often found in the air during spring time, or so some believe. How are you meeting the need for love and belonging? Do you want to take extra time with girl friends, guy friends, significant others or your children or partner? What can you do to enjoy the relationships you currently have in your life and what other relationships do you want to develop? Have you ever read any of Gary Chapman’s Love languages series, I recommend them highly.  Need 2: “Love and Belonging” deserves a close look, take some time to explore what you are doing to meet this need in healthy and fun ways.

In the next post we will explore Freedom and Boundaries, Fun and power. For now, take a look at these two needs and if you want to share some of your experiences and thoughts, feel free to let me know how you are doing.

Enjoy being and becoming,

 Wendy
